Speaking Engagements

Vivek Khuller to speak on "The Role of FMC in UC" panel at the Unified Communications Conference at NXTcomm 2008

Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV - June 19 3:30pm

What role will fixed-mobile convergence play in unified communications? Some might agrue that UC is inherently mobile and the need for wireline in the enterprise is dissipating, but it is also possible UC could represent FMC finest opportunity to prove itself, as wireline connected phones and data and video gear will need to work in concert with wireless phones, PDAs and mobile broadband laptops.

Vivek Khuller to participate in a panel discussion at the INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO WEST 2008

Los Angeles, CA - September 16 11:00am -11:45am

Businesses today want their mobile solution to do a much better job of increasing productivity, in addition to decreasing their carrier-service costs (a benefit already provided by FMC). Some FMC companies have therefore morphed their technology to fulfill today’s business needs — and this new breed of high-productivity/cost-effective solution now falls under the Mobile Unified Communications (Mobile UC) umbrella. Mobile UC blends FMC’s seamless roaming with UC apps and it unifies these technologies onto a smartphone, which can run over cellular, WiFi or both.

This session will discuss Mobile UC solutions available today, and how they are making mobile workers more productive while still lowering the bottom line.
