DiVitas Networks Wins Best Wireless Mobility Product of the Year 2007 Award

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., AND CAMBERLEY, UK (02/26/2007) - DiVitas Networks™, the leader in the emerging mobile-to-mobile convergence (MMC) market, today announced it has won a NetEvents 2007 Technology Leader award for Best Wireless Mobility Product for its MMC solution at this year’s NetEvents European Press & Analyst Summit 2007.

The NetEvents 2007 “Technology Leader” Awards were announced and presented at a prestigious award banquet held in Evian, France, on 22nd February 2007 as part of the NetEvents European Press & Analyst Summit 2007. These annual awards recognize both business and technological achievement in seven categories. The proceeds from the award entries and ceremony are shared between the American Cancer Society and the Prostate Project Foundation for Cancer Research.

All the award categories were judged by an independent panel of industry analysts and senior press representatives from over 30 European publications who cover the European IT market. This year’s awards for technological achievement were presented by NetEvents’ Editorial Director Manek Dubash.

“Seamless mobile communication across different types of wireless technology is among the mobile industry’s Holy Grails,” said Manek Dubash, managing director of Manek Dubash Associates in the UK and NetEvents’ editorial director. “DiVitas Networks has solved the problem with a mobile convergence solution that allows enterprises to control mobile phone costs with an easy-to-use product that really works.”

Consisting of a Mobile Convergence Appliance™ (MCA) deployed inside the enterprise and a Mobile Convergence Client™ (MCC) embedded in popular handsets, the DiVitas solution is network-, device-, and PBX-agnostic and delivers total mobility of enterprise applications under the complete control of the enterprise. The DiVitas solution overcomes the three mobility roadblocks of cost, control, and complexity and enables enterprises to mobilize road warriors and corridor warriors with a return on investment in less than six months of initial deployment.

“Winning this prestigious award after launching the MMC solution in Europe this week was a significant achievement for our company and channel partners,” said Gordon Young, vice president of DiVitas Europe. “This gives our channel partners and prospective channel partners confidence in their ability to generate new revenue with our solution. DiVitas is seeing great interest from every market segment for our new enterprise solution.”

“We are truly honoured to win our first award in Europe at such a high-profile event with so many of Europe’s top industry press representatives present,” said Vivek Khuller, founder, president and CEO of DiVitas Networks. “Our goal at DiVitas is to give companies the option of mobilizing all enterprise business applications seamlessly over any network for the same cost as a desktop solution while retaining complete control within the enterprise. “To be recognized for this lofty challenge is an accomplishment in itself,” concluded Khuller.
