One Device for Voice, Email, & Text
We’ve all seen them – those guys sporting a “bat man” belt capable of holding several mobile devices in such a way that if one of the phones ring, it can be brought from its holster and answered in a blink. While finding ways of strapping multiple devices to oneself in such a way that it these devices are easily accessible is probably the best way to juggle 2+ mobile phones, this solution fails to address a major problem: What mobile workers need device consolidation and DiVitas provides them with exactly that advancement in mobile communications.
DiVitas equips mobile workers with a single device and single business phone number that is used for placing and receiving all calls as well as for exchanging email and text messages.
Not only does this reduce the complexity for the mobile worker managing the devices and contact information, it helps ensure that he is always reachable, and reachable in the simplest way.
Customers and colleagues don’t have to guess which number to call (for a non-DiVitas user, that would be a deskphone number plus one or more cell phone numbers). They simply use the single phone number listed on the mobile workers business card and call him there. This increase in reachability translates directly to increased productivity and an improved bottom line.
For the mobile worker, he has to manage only one database to find a phone number or email address (whereas the non-DiVitas mobile worker must check multiple devices for that information).
Also, because email and text messaging are treated equally as voice, messages can be sent and received via cell or WiFi – whichever is optimal given the end user’s location. And the DiVitas-enabled mobile worker need only check one source – his dual-mode smart phone – for the address or number he needs for sending his message.
